Unfortunately, it is with great sadness that we must share that the Black Music Summit will no longer be taking place this September as originally planned. Due to uncontrollable financial challenges, we are not able to deliver the project to the standard, not only that we want, but that all attendees deserve. While the situation is extremely sad and a true loss for the community, we hope that we are able to continue the mission of helping to create a better industry for Black people and will take some time to take stock and reassess how we can carry out our values of creating impactful change.

We would like to thank you wholeheartedly for the work you put into our conversations and the support you showed the project. We are truly grateful for everyone who has shown belief and support of equality in the music industry for Black people and to everyone who wanted to see us succeed.
